Advice to Candidates

Workload - We do work A LOT. In advisory, there is no busy season. It is pretty much ALWAYS busy.

Quality of Life - You will spend more time with your work associates than anyone else so I am happy to work with such great people.

Compensation - The compensation isn't great but it is good. If you work hard, you will get promoted.

We work hard, but are fairly compensated. Our expectations are high, but we are proud of that and continue to strive to offer the absolute best in client service.

Lots of hard work.

Was told I would be getting a bonus when I signed with the firm and then it was not communicated to me that it was being taken away when they raised my salary.

Culture, worklife balance

Downers

leadership (out of touch, not engaged), too much emphasis on consesnsus building, disjointed infrastructure and internal support

The outlook was so positive a few years ago, but now the future is a mystery and can go in any direction.

Mid-level in Audit & Assurance | Melville, NY | 2018 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

The flexibility and reasonability of most people.

Downers

Sketchiness from upper management and not everyone being on board with the culture can make some things very miserable. All it takes is one bad seed.

Advice to Candidates

The company business model and plan is shifting and we aren't sure what it will hold - I would advise getting into the advisory section because all the money is being spent on growing that area.
