What is the interview like for software engineers at ebay or paypal?
How about salary? Numbers would be nice. |

They both operate similarly.
Usually a prescreen ( phone) with about 25 questions, later if moving fwd. in person interview. These can be different, panel interviews or 1 on 1's.
Interviews are behavioral: meanining you will have to provide "an example of a time when you...." The response will have to be relevant, positive (a time when you succeeded) and job related. Suggest you make a list of the following:
- time when you were in the following situations and HOW you dealt with them:
- resolved an issue w/coworker
-provided positive feedback to someone
- most challenging project
- demonstrated effective communication
- went the extra-mile for your job
