You mentioned that your friend got into the e-consulting arm of KPMG, did he apply specifically to that KPMG division or just to KPMG in general? I was under the impression that the big 5 are taking already experienced people within their firms to fill these e-consulting positions and they were certainly not going to hire new outside people (unless they had substantial e-business experience)to fill these positions - is that correct? I would greatly appreciate any comments - Thanks |

Your best bet is to network your way in or to use a recruiter, assuming you've got:
1) two or more years of experience in e-business
or
2) applicable skills in an industry, technology, or function.
