How can does one get into the e-consulting branches of the Big 5 |

I have a friend that just joined the e-consulting arm of kpmg, and he loves it. but if you're used to the small company thing, you might not be as comfortable. I'm in the same boat as you, but frankly, after three years at a startup, I'm looking for the security of a more mature company. |

You mentioned that your friend got into the e-consulting arm of KPMG, did he apply specifically to that KPMG division or just to KPMG in general? I was under the impression that the big 5 are taking already experienced people within their firms to fill these e-consulting positions and they were certainly not going to hire new outside people (unless they had substantial e-business experience)to fill these positions - is that correct? I would greatly appreciate any comments - Thanks
