Anyone have a sense for how changes (lower stock prices, layoffs, etc) have affected salaries in ebusiness consultancies? I'm an MBA w/ 2 years experience at a second-tier e-strategy firm (gotta be honest!), and am not sure what to look for salary-wise espeically since options don't have the potential they once did. |

It depends on your experience. The market for consultants with a couple of years of business experience is still very good and I can not see any reason why it should not stay that way. On the other hand, it has become more difficult for juniors to get a high salary as soon as they leave university.
