Are you sure bonus and perks are better? My position is for consultant...are you a Sr. Consultant? That could explain why you think the perks are better as I'm pretty sure they aren't. ZS's base is alot higher.
Keep in mind that bonuses although stated or promised, from what i hear, are rarely paid in the industry.
As far as negotiation, my offer expires soon so things won't start till then. To be honest, the base is far below my expectation and I already expected a lower base, so its very low in my opinion. I dont think negotiating will make a difference for me. Campbell treated me very well though so I intend to be honest without dragging the process on any longer.
on a side note, what do u think the work life balance will be like? I got the impression you will be working very hard (more so than average).
if you want, i dont mind exchanging information outside of vault.

Hi biotech guy.
What do you mean that bonuses are rarely paid in this industry even if promised? How can a significant crosssection of an entire industry get away with this bait and switch game over time?
Can anyone detail/ break out a list of similar positions to consider in pharma/biotech outside of consulting that an individual in pharma strategy consulting might reasonably be a candidate for?
