I have a prosthetic right eye and am about to start a position at a new firm. The eye moves and looks good for the most part, although there are times when it maybe noticeable, like when I'm tired, or if its dirty. I feel more comfortable when it is somewhat obscured to camoflauge any present impurities. Is it ok if i wore tinted prescription eyeglasses while at work? I'm 25 y/o and not completely up on the ins and outs of office appropriateness. If its ok, what color, how light, dark? Would it be an issue when in meetings, etc? Please help, all i get is biased opinions from my friends. I need an objective answer. Thanks |

If you are a woman, see if you can use make-up to make it harder to notice.
Also (regardless of gender), consider using a contact lens in your good eye that to make it look more like the glass one.
