In Reply To: Actually I am protected, you might not be. I'm British and subject to protection under the European Convention of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms enshrined in English Law by The Human Rights Act 1998. That prohibits discrimination on grounds of sexual orientatin (unless potentially damaging to national security). It also protects privacy as a fundamental right so I can do what I want outside of work so long as it doesn't breach my contract of employment. But I'd have a dog.
Message: Ivy_law is right, depending on the US state...Ed_c is partially right, as long as he stays in England (partially because the protections stated have nothing to do with nose rings).
