Reading some of these postings have made me laugh, if only for the variety of comments against nose rings. Why is everyone assuming this person is young, radical and not-to-be taken seriously?
I am 30 yrs old, have a masters and a grad dip, plenty of corporate work experience and also have a nose AND naval piercing and two tatoos (not visible).
Contrary to what others might think, I still look professional and tidy with a lovely nose stud - in fact, am considered to be extremely well groomed and attractive. I get comments on it all the time, and have NEVER taken it out for a job interview. I've had four jobs since I got my nose pierced (when I was 22) and each one payed better and moved me higher up the corporate ladder.
My nose ring is a symbol of my individuality and an expression of creativity - same as guys wearing loud ties or character socks. If you aren't hiring someone purely becuase you think a nose ring is a bit 'radical', chances are you are missing out on hiring someone who could be a great asset to your company.
Shame on them for not realising that looks really are only skin deep - its the characteristics and attributes you should be looking at - not decorations.
So my advice - wear the nose stud with pride and bugger anyone who turns their nose up at it- chances are you won't want to work for them anyway!

Yes, my diaper is a sign of my individuality, my willingness to be nurtured, a symbol that I am willing to learn and grow.
Contrary to what others may think. I still look professional and tidy with my neatly pressed diaper - unless I make a 'boom boom'.
My diaper is truly an expression of creativity - unlike the relatively mainstream and commonplace nose piercings, these guys might as well put on a corporate suit.
