Ok, I have eben at my job for over one year now and I am still bored!
Very often, I get no work in at all and I drive an hourjust to come in and sit there. They started screwing around a few months ago and my boss quit and where is his replacement? Havent seen anyone even come in to be interviewed.
I have nothing to do, with the industry slow down there is nothing in HR to do. I frequently help out other departments and thats fine and dandy, but I have no work to do once that is done.
I ask everyone for work and everyone says that I finish too fast when in my mind i think it should not take 1/2 day to do what I did.
Find another job? Try looking in my area for an HR job for someone that has been out of college for 1.5 and bored most of that time. If you are not a manager, there is no work for you! |

yes, i was the original post of this message & I'm nearing on my one year mark at my job now. it's crazy how nothing has changed, i'm wasting the best years of my life sitting. I started taking on responsibilies on my own & then they hire a consultant, my manager felt threatened & has now cut me out of everything. In 10 months I am still doing the same thing I was doing my first day here. I make great money, but this is ridiculous. i've met with my boss' boss, etc & nothing. I just keep getting a carrot dangled in front of me. I was even told that I would be able to work from home some days because I have a home office, guess what? I'm not working from home EVER. I could scream. I was even told that I am very talented,e tc., yet I am still just sitting here bored out of my mind. I don't even ask my boss for work anymore, there is no point. He is threatened and the only way I can move up is if he is gone. I think i'm going to write a book about this place..........
