Most companies I know, especially in the insurance industry are very old fashioned and refuse to telecommute anyone..of course they tell you that they have alot of them--their field adjusters(who telecommuted for the past 70 years) and the agents(same thing). But in general, their attitude is, 'if you do not like it, there is the door.' Most of us put up with it, and finally quit. |

Our country has lost sight of so many good things: respect for people (which includes employees), respect for people being human, and respect for their rights as people. Enforcement of rules which inpinge on civil liberties is something many of our big corporations are guilty of. It's good to work hard. But who feels good about that these days? It's a put up or shut up world if you work under the management.
