We are four students in an MBA program in New York City researching conflicts employees have in meshing their work lives with their personal lives.
I'd be interested in hearing how different companies and industries manage or encourage employees to handle these conflicts.
Anybody who would be interested in participating in a survey should e-mail ezer@peoplepc.com or darcement@aol.com.
Thanks,
David Ezer

They need serious help in the Midwest (especially SD). Workers have inflexible schedules, only get 5 or less sick days per year, have arbitrary performance review policies, don't encourage users to express their viewpoints, bully other employees and don't encourage a life-work balance. The company we work in is a sick place because almost everyone is crabby and does not smile when you greet them in the hallway between floors. I could leave, like so many others. But the ones who are left behind suffer. We are just expected to be at work at our designated times. There is little flexibility. Do some research on what's like to work in large to medium-sized companies and their inhumane policies in the midwest. We need help!!!!!!!!!!!!
