My previous employer did not, ever, acknowledge when I did a good job, not even when I cracked two tough problems that he himself created [and would not admit to it], plus no other technician in the company was able to solve (after each spending hours repeating the mistake). Instead, I got criticized for "wasting time". My solution took half an hour, solved the problem, and I documented it for future reference. His proposed solution would take four hours, which he would either call 'unbillable' or would injustly overbill the client. Anyone else with similar situations?
