Developing a B2B site as an informational tool and was curious if any one has found a way to actually get leads from a site. |

You say this is an informational site, meaning that it was developed to inform.
If you are changing your objective to now obtain leads, you'll need to provide the viewer with the option of signing up.
Your server logs will not provide you with the actual viewer's information so you cannot covertly obtain this information.
Frequently, sites that want to obtain leads, will offer a white paper for downloading that requires a sign in.
The best way is to allow the viewer to choose to be contacted.
