Boss take credit for your work? |

I am a Marketing Manager - overseeing a corporate marketing department for 500+ employee firm. My boss has no marketing education / experience; his 15+ years background is in a completely different area. The problem is that he always takes credit for my work and ideas to compensate for his lack of "know-how", and to look good in front of the board of directors / president. HR is unreceptive, what should I do? |

I agree with a previous post-er; it goes on all the time. We live in a Darwinian world; so, unless your company is a total monopoly, they have a competitor who might be interested to know that this is how they run their business. Keep a list in mind of who are the best and worst employees in your company, you might want to share it with the hiring authority of your new company.
