If you know anything about the Law and Title VII and its corollaries, then you would know that nose piercings are not a protected category (ie -- they can fire you for a nose ring). Gender, race, color, national origin, age (over 40 only), pregnancy are the protected categories. All are based on characteristics that are "immutable".
You should find out the facts before you speak so ignorantly on a subject. Employers can fire you for any reason they want except for the aforementioned reasons. |

You are also mistaken. Your boss couldn't fire you because he wanted friend of his to take your job, because he finds out you're gay or because he doesn't like people that own a cat.
