I never understood how work all of a sudden was supposed to be this spiritually fullfilling experience. I work for one reason. To collect a paycheck. I motivate myself to do my job well because that's what I'm paid to do. I do what my boss tells me to do not because he/she is a great leader or a visionary but because he/she signs my paychecks. I don't expect work to give me hapiness or fill any void in my life other than the void in my wallet. |

You are supposed to like your job, because it is supposed to provide you with an experience that you would not be able to find elsewhere. If you do not like what you do, then maybe you have not found a job that fulfills your real interests. Its nice to get a paycheck, but its a lot better to love what you do, and get paid to do it!
