Message: We had a recent situation where a part of our company was shut down and the one remaining staff member was reassigned to work with me in Interactive. I am the web manager, with waay too much to do, but this woman does NOT want to help me at all. She's a Project Manager and thinks she is above admin and doesn't want to take orders from anyone except the big boss. So I"m faced with the frustrating situation of having too much to do, yet sitting there watching and listening her do nothing, well, except plan her family holidays, talk to her sister long distance etc. The thing is, I don't want to order her around, I just want to balance out the workload between the two of us. I've got more experience AND education, as well as years on her, but she's just so difficult. It's starting to affect my relationship with the bosses, as they know what the situation is, but have yet to do anything - it's been four months of hell. What can I do to encourage HER to take action herself, as well as telling the bosses to do their job too? It's frustrating and I'm now considering moving on - even though I love where I am!! Help!
