I am a new grad and have been working in the consulting industry for over 4 months.
My life has gone to shit. Work/life is bullshit. My hours are crazy. The industry is cut-throat and office politics are rampant.
I knew what I was getting in to when I interviewed for consulting jobs. I have no problem working the hours that I do or dealing with the ongoing shit. The real question is--am I doomed forever with this crap or will my life get better as I become less of a "peon"?
I have already been recognized by top management for my efforts, so I'm not just bitching because my little naive self has to work a few late nights. At the same time though........my life sucks. Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

If it makes you feel any better, there are loads of us feeling just like that on this side of the pond too. Obviously this helps little, but just thought it may amuse you to know!
