I am a new grad and have been working in the consulting industry for over 4 months.
My life has gone to shit. Work/life is bullshit. My hours are crazy. The industry is cut-throat and office politics are rampant.
I knew what I was getting in to when I interviewed for consulting jobs. I have no problem working the hours that I do or dealing with the ongoing shit. The real question is--am I doomed forever with this crap or will my life get better as I become less of a "peon"?
I have already been recognized by top management for my efforts, so I'm not just bitching because my little naive self has to work a few late nights. At the same time though........my life sucks. Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
