What kind of morons work there. |

I started a job a few months ago & was promised project management responsibilties. So far, I am doing the work of an entry level person. I have over 3 years of experience in my industry and this is a complete slap in the face. I've told my manager my expectations & nothing changes. My manager keeps telling me that I'm doing an excellent job. That's really helpful.

What kind of job do you do? Are they busy because they have assignments that are isolated and don't involve talking to others or your co-workers over-worked.
Do they view you as a threat or unfit for the job? You don't give enough specifics about what your job is, so how can anyone give you any advice on how to fit in.
If your there to learn, don't be afraid to ask questions that relate to your job. Ask you boss at least if you get stuck about something. The least you could do is read about that job and try to apply those things that are in books that are about that career, unless you job is riding the back of a sanitation truck. (How can we give you any good advice if you aren't specific enough to give us the situation.)
Learn to communicate a bit better here first and then apply those skills at your workplace.
