The Recession and White Collar Work |

With all this talk about recession and the downturn in the economy lately, I'm wondering if we've started to see job markets for white-collar work to deteriorate. Last month's job report noted that we lost over 66,000 jobs in the economy and I've noticed (on a personal basis) fewer online job postings for my particular industry, freelance writing (although,employmentcrossing.com seems like a novel new way of looking). Any thoughts on whether we've started seeing a slowing of white collar work, or is this relegated to mostly blue collar jobs?
