I would like to apply for new jobs now, but I won't be getting my bonus at my current company until the end of January. What are the unwritten rules as far as applying for jobs during this time frame? Should I interview with new companies and tell them I cannot start until I receive bonus from current company? My bonus is for last year's performance, so is it ok to bolt after I receive the check?
