Hello everyone.
I think it's helpful for those who are researching a career to get honest advice about the job they want to do from anyone who's in that sector. I've just graduated and I'm looking to get involved in heritage interpretation. I've always been interested in arts and heritage and would like to know the pros and cons of this type of working environment. Any advice for beginners (!) about how to break into the heritage interpretation sector would also be most welcome.

I'm not sure what section of the country you are in, but if you live in the Washington DC area, there is a company you should check out called The History Factory. I've never worked there, but I did interview there and it seems like a wonderful company.
