Sorry 2 weeks is 2 weeks. You should / must maintain the proper timetable. You never know when something like this will work to your advantage. |

If you can get him first thing Monday, then it's fine to let hom know that a week from Friday will be your last day. That would come to 10 working days.
If you can't track him down on Monday, then you need to make a decision about just how important it is to give two weeks notice.
