hi,
what would you do if you just began working in an area you're interested in and seems difficult to get a job in, if ...
your boss constantly monitors you - always asking what you're doing, looks over your shoulder, asks you how long it will take to complete your assignment. all the while paces back and forth, constantly jabbers, and talks to others on the speakerphone - all in a single room office? and in another office, always asks where you are if you are not at your desk - which is in direct view of his office. and does all of this when you have never given him reason to behave this way.
takes every opportunity to belittle you and others, and guise these suggestions as constructive criticism.
gives you less substantive (and which has been traditionally more female oriented)while giving a male co-worker more substantive work?
constantly complains that everyone else is wrong and stupid.
believes he is righteous while doing some things that could be seen as questionable.
seems to have unrealistic expectations about what your role would be.
would you try to arrange a part time position so that you could try to gain experience and for resume purposes or would you, as others in this particular position, walk while it is still relatively "good" - aware that he may not give you a positive reference even if you stay and then walk at some point in the future because he may see it as disloyal??
