I have heard through the office grapevine that people are reviewed at my company but they are never really told about it i.e., nothing formal - no sit down with your superiors and discussing where you excelled or fell short during the year. Is this even legal?
One co-worker was given a very small raise and a miniscule bonus and teh reason cited was that their review was not good.
Is there some recourse in these cases? Can we demand to see our files (and quickly before they are "sanitized")?
