I will be starting a new job in a few weeks that we allow me to work from home. As this is the first time I have a job that is structured like this, I would appreciate any infor or experiences of people that are currently doing this..thanks! |

I would advise that you set-up a routine and stick to it. Coffee, read the paper, shower, get dressed and "go to work". Start and end work at the same time everyday regardless of committments or you will be in your work area 15 hours.
Seperate your work area from you living space.
Do not do house work.
Make time to get to the real office at least once every week.
EAT LUNCH...stop working and actually sit outside the office to have your lunch. Or best yet leave the house.
The flexibility of tele-commuting is great if you manage your time accordingly.
