i would just bring in something, the policy seems perfectly harmless. doesn't seem to be a big deal, depending on the size of the team, not enough to make a big thing out of anyway. |

Agreed if its a small group or small amt (like doughnuts).
For my group that was 100+ people.
Doughnuts was much more realistic.
In my case it was a big deal.
A big enough deal to sue the company over.
My manager listend to me because I was at that moment doing major projects for both her and the VP.
I think she felt a change was needed.
Fact is, I would have brought in doughnuts only anyway, even if small group.
The only time I will bring major food items to a company deal is around thanksgiveing or xmas or in a group deal (where we all bring in something)>
