Message Name: To share or not to share a room?

In Reply To: I've been asked to travel to another city for a week-long company event. The travel itself is no problem - however, I found out that I will be expected to share a hotel room with a co-worker. I'd rather have a room to myself, and would even be willing to pay for it. But if I'm the only person who does that, will I appear to be rude, or unsociable, or whatever? Has anyone else been in this situation, and if so, how did you handle it? Thanks in advance for your input...
Message: I have in the past been ask to share a room with co- workers. On seveal occosaions, I did share a room with someone I was comfortable with. On the other hand I have simply told the company I wanted my own room. I pretty much stick to that policy now. I want my privacy. Bill Dennison
