New Job and I Already Hate It |

I lost my job in January 2004. Since I anticipated a layoff, I interviewed for a job in February 2003, and then accepted the position in March 2003.
The job required clearance, so it took almost a year, so I was laid off and formally accepted the job.
My husband and I moved back to where we wanted to live, but I took a $15K paycut. (Believe me, I interviewed for other positions, but was not extended any offers.)
Well, a month into the job, and I hate it. When I write that down, I feel immature, if ungrateful because I lost my job and should be happy I even have one.
My current job not only represents a tremendous loss of pay; I also feel that, professionally, it is several steps down.
Is it it unethical to even try to apply for a new job? The sticky part is that I would have to pay back my relocation expenses.
