Just needed to vent about this..in my department one of my co-workers in the past 2 months has taken a total of 10 days off..sick days, personal days, etc. This week she actually called in sick M-W, came in TH, and called out today (never has a doctor's note, or even a cough). The managers of this department don't even bat an eyelash at this behavior & actually let her control every meeting (the ones she actually attends!). She is no ones boss in this group, yet we all have to endure here "managerial" behavior in meetings...just can't take it anymore. Why is she above reproach?? Felt good to get that off my chest. Thanks!
