Hello,
This year I received a good rating on my annual performance review. This is only my second year at my company (and my first job out of college). So I don't know if it's appropriate to provide comments for a good rating on the "Annual Performance Review" document. I was thinking that an email to my supervisor and director might be more appropiate. Or should I write some notes of appreciation since someone in Human Resources (or even the President of my company) can see this . I certainly know that my supervisor and director were appreciative of my work, however, they did explain that it was difficult to convince the "Annual Performance Review Committee" to give me a good rating. These people are not in my group, so they do not really get a chance to see what I do from day to day. I think this is more about office politics. In any case, can anyone let me know what I should write. I want to show appreciation and gratitude, but I'm not really good with words. If anyone can offer some good advice, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
