I don't see how women are discriminated against "in the workplace". Sure, you can find examples of it - but, if anything, the norm is quite the opposite. Firms fall over themselves to find excuses to promote women.
And by the way, men and women are paid practically the same for the same jobs and experience levels, all things considered.

you have to be kidding me. I dont know whether you live in a hole or are just blind, but discriminiation is out there in plain view. And if you think men and women earn the same amounts for the same positions - then you also have obviously NOT read any of the recent reports or studies quanitifying that women earn on they average less than men for the same work.
