I agree that the assessment is quite odd. I applied for the job and was deemed unsuccessful. I just relocted to the area and was seeking new employment. I come from an extremely successful career in sales. So to find out I was unsuccessful was odd to me. My mom is a psy. and said those assessments are so inaccurate...and they were never designed for employment. What are your thoughts??? |

I honestly don't know what the assessment is supposed to measure. But I was told that the assessment did not quantify your sales ability as much as your personality type for this job. I have a strong sales background and pleasant personality so imagine my shock when I was told I had been unsuccessful. In my time at Wachovia, I have noticed that the 90-95% of the FS positions are held by males and if a female holds the postion she' been there for years. When I asked if I could take the assessment again, I was told you have to wait 1 year before I am eligible again. For all the diversity Wachovia touts its self on, they have suspect and questionable policies.
