I am just beginning my first year at a top 5 Bschool this fall and looking to make a career switch from strategy consulting to venture capital.
I am interested in hearing people's feedback and ideas as to how to break in. In discussing this with colleagues and have created a few ideas
1) Go to work for a startup in BizDev of Product management - P&L responsibility
2) Go the IB/PE route then transition to venture
Any thoughts?
