What can one expect for a biotechnology venture capital analyst salary in NYC? Currently I make $80K in biotech licensing and have been invited to interview for an analyst position at a small (but established) biotech venture fund. On the phone, the interviewee mentioned "junior vc analyst". I'm hoping that the guy wouldn't waste my time interviewing me for a entry level job since he knows that I have a PhD and work experience. Am I hoping for too much. Any ideas? |

joining at an entry level role as you have no PE/M&A experience. But an entry level job in PE should pay considerably more than $80K so I would not worry.
