I've had some great folks come to us from this board, and as such, I'll throw out another opportunity or two:
Interns: LA or DC, can work the IB or VC side in a boutique environment. Actual hands on WORK, not scut work. We're small, private, and not snobby at all. If you take away anything from this opportunity, it will be real experience.
IB/VC Entry Level -- new grads welcome; working one on one with a partner, actual client contact and management, ability after training to be thrown to the wolves to handle your own clients :) Boutique environment, DC or LA location. If you're angling towards securities, this would be a great start.
Hint: Resumes are great indicators of what you've done. Tell us what you CAN do over what you HAVE done. School and grades are somewhat important, but brains, good sense, and ability get more points here. Compensation is decent, but if you're looking for the fluffy perk and poof, keep sending your resume to NY and not to us. |

Hi,
I am interested in learning more about your firm and what you have to offer as well letting you know what I have to offer.
I have over 4 years of professional experience in many attractive business lines, as while as co-directing business development and financing of my own company. I have been interviewing with a few VC firms here in Colorado as well as SF, and I am currently negotiating on the final details, but I am very interesting in finding more about you firm. Like what industry you specialize in and what stage of development?
You may contact me at TDSMichael@aol.com.
