... at least compared to LBO shops or big hedge funds. VC requires too much effort to manage a large amount of money. The percent of profits is similar to that for LBOs or hedge funds, only they can manage far more money. And it's not as if the returns for VC are crazy high. They're historically arounds 15%. Someone please explain to me why people think VC's earn so much. (i know they're not in the poor house, and I know there's potential for huge profit, but practically, it's not there.)
