I second Andrew's recommendation of The Kaufmann Fellowship. As part of their program, they place you with a prominent Venture Capital Firm. The program is awesome. It requires an MBA or I would be tempted to apply myself!

I thought the Kaufmann fellowship is only for US citizens not even for permanent residence.
