I'm curious about your background. I'm trying to get into the business end of biotechnology (currently a bench scientist who worked on Wall Street) and think VC may be a way in. I realize it's a very exclusive club, and so was curious on your take of the current industry is (as well as a few years from now) and what it's been like for you. I'm an MBA,CPA and JD and was until recently a senior associate with a big NY law firm. I've never worked in venture capital or private equity, although I have represented private equity funds in transactions. I agree it is a very exclusive club. I believe some folks get into the business after being involved with successful start-ups, although I would imagine this is quite difficult. Good luck!
