I've been admitted to the MBA program at both Sloan and Wharton. Which would be better in the long-run for a career in VC?
(My background includes an economics degree from an Ivy League school, and management consulting and technology startup experience.) |

At Sloan, you'll be surrounded by engineers and researchers who may discover the next Big Thing. The spirit of innovation you'll find at MIT will prepare you for a successful career in the VC industry. MIT also has the 50K competition which will give you an idea of what it's like to create a start up and pitch for VC money. Sloan will open the door to the MIT alumni network which will help you in the VC world. Finally, Sloan students are known to be analytically gifted and technologically savvy, qualities that VC's look for.
