The original message was floating around here earlier and it was hilarious. The web link is to Nury Vittachi's gossip page, who's a Hong Kong gossip columnist known for being on the money a lot of the time. I'll confirm whether with this really happened with my friends at Carlyle.

If it's really true, if I was his boss, I would have fired him too.
If you read his email, refers to Carlyle as a "buyside" firm. As is well known, Carlyle is not an buyside (ie, investment management) firm but a LBO shop.
Besides being a message of exceptional crudity towards women, Mr. was apparently unaware that his firm, being composed of former Washington politicos, could not afford to be associated with a message of such piggishness if any of its partners wished to return to politics.
