What is a good major if I want ot get into VC? Is it helpful to have a background in MIS, or should I just focus on Finance and Accounting? |

If you polled all active venture capitalists you'd find a wide disparity in educational background. As a junior person breaking into a competitive industry - my opinion is that the engineering (or other technical) undergrad/MBA with industry experience is a great and desirable background. But remember that educational background is a relatively small piece of the equation.
