One of the critical skills in PE is research/diligence. You have the name (Apollo Advisors), their location (LA) and their founder (Leon Black.)
Anyone who is halfway competent would be able to recite their entire deal history in one hour or less. If you find the information collection process daunting, perhaps you should consider another line of work.
