Private Equity Week in Fall 2000 reported:
"An analyst with only a college degree and zero to two years' experience at a private equity firm that manages at least one fund of $600 million t! o $1 billion, will make $68,000 in 2000, a 13% gain over 1999 figures, said Michael Holt, director of private equity compensation with William H. Mercer Inc.
"Add in an annual bonus, and his compensation will reach $95,000 for a 36% total increase in compensation, (Salary estimates are based on preliminary data of a survey of 100 private venture firms.)" |
