The last 3 companies I worked for have all been aquired or bought out(a direct mail greeting card company,a telcom and an aternative source grocery trading corp). I have 15+ years experience in VC, pre-IPO and IPO companies. I have multiple deep-pocket clients looking for investment opportunities.
