What types of exit opportunities VCs in Russia are looking for? Is it only sale of a company to Western buyers?

Pretty much so. However, larger companies in Russia and, for example, Ukraine, have become strong enough to buy successful venture-backed companies in some cases. Of course, venture funds always look for locals to buy their unsuccessful projects, or whatever is left of them.
