I'm a first year B school student and want to get into VC/PE afterwards. Before coming to school, I worked for one of the top strategy consulting companies.
Obviously, I'm currently trying to get a VC/PE summer internship, but these are pretty rare; I'm therefore wondering what my best alternative for the summer would be:
- M+A at GS/MSDW/CSFB
- M+A at a tech boutique like Broadview
- Working for a technology company like Cisco, Lucent
- Working for a start-up
- Or something else?
Any suggestions?
