Does anyone out there know what are the top-tier/most active technology-focused VC firms in Europe at the moment?
I'm an MBA student at the University of Texas at Austin and am trying to find an internship with a European VC firm/incubator/mentor capitalist/angel organisation for this upcoming summer. My wife is a British citizen currently working in the UK, so work permits should not be a problem.
As for my background, I used to work for Accenture's (formerly Andersen Consulting's) Center for Strategic Technology Research (CSTaR) monitoring the US startup/venture capital industry. Currently, I'm a member of a group in Austin called the Venture Capital Fellows, which works with local VC firms to review business plans and provide advice to entrepreneurs.
I would like to find something in Europe so I can rejoin my wife and because I think there is a great deal of potential in Europe that has yet to be tapped.
